Virtualbox OSE and Shared Folder Issue [solved]

Hi,

Does anyone know what's the difference (feature wise) between the OSE version (shipped by Ubuntu) and the binary version by Sun?

I tried creating the shared folder using the OSE version but was without much luck. Am now trying to download the binary version (2.2) to see if it make any difference.

Silly me, didn't realize that I have to install the Guest Addition software in the WinXp Guest OS itself to access shared folder!

So nothing to do with the versions.

i think the main difference between the OSE and Sun versions is working USB pass-through. i think the difference is mentioned on the website.
